When I’m not capturing love stories, I’m usually adventuring with my husband Ben, curled up at home with our cats, geeking out over digital products or new film stock. Ben & I love paddling rivers, chasing evening light on the coast, traveling in the off-season, and enjoying date nights at our favorite Portland spots.

Every wedding gallery I shoot and every photo I edit reminds me of the beginnings of my creative story.. the leap from passion to profession, and all the brave steps I took along the way. As a little girl, I was rarely without a family camcorder in hand, inventing new “tv shows” or capturing the everyday moments around me. I loved creating, scheming, and building from scratch. Somewhere along the way, creative entrepreneurship quietly took root in my soul.
This is My Dream Job
Over the years, I explored many paths, chasing ideas, learning lessons, and discovering that freedom, purpose, and creativity weren’t just wants, they were necessities. Facing serious health challenges pushed me to claim a life that aligned with my passion. Photography found me at exactly the right time. Picking up my camera as a career choice gave me a way to step boldly into the unknown, to tell stories that breathe and ache with truth and depth that I have always craved.
Today, that calling has grown into a new role, educator. I get to guide wide-eyed, brand new photographers, just like the past version of myself. I help them to uncover their own creative rhythm, find freedom in their work, and discover the same joy and fire that changed everything for me — while still shooting the weddings I love so much.
I am so grateful to every single client who has entrusted me with their precious memories throughout the years, this is truly not only my dream job, but my inner childs, too and I will never take that for granted.
