Alden and Jesse’s wedding was an unforgettable blend of rustic charm and intentional moments. Set against the backdrop of The Barn at Powder Major’s Farm in Madbury, New Hampshire, their special day exuded a sense of country elegance. Despite the overcast sky, the couple infused the celebration with bursts of vibrant colors, reflecting their lively personalities and creating a truly memorable experience.
From personalized details to heartfelt vows and a delicious buffet-style barbecue, every aspect of their rustic-chic wedding showcased their unique love story.

Getting Ready Moments
The getting-ready moments were filled with excitement. Alden worked her makeup magic, accentuating her natural beauty and the maid of honor created a stunning braided low-pony, adorned with floral hair accessories. With her fitted lace gown, pearl necklace, and of course, cowgirl boots, Alden looked absolutely gorgeous. Meanwhile, Jesse rocked a stylish blue suit, complete with an orange vest and tie, perfectly matching the vibrant wedding color scheme. Together, they were the epitome of rustic charm, ready to say the big “I do.”

Emotional First Looks
Alden and Jesse’s first looks were filled with emotion. Alden had touching moments with her dad and brother, and Jesse’s reaction when he saw his bride was pure joy. For their portraits, they chose a vintage wagon as a rustic backdrop, and Jesse rocked his cowboy hat with pride. They are so in love, and it shows!

The Heartfelt Ceremony
The ceremony outside the barn was a perfect blend of humor and heartfelt moments. Despite the looming threat of rain, the weather held up, allowing the proceedings to unfold beautifully. The ring bearer sprinted down the aisle with energy, while the flower girl couldn’t resist dumping out all of the petals before her walk. Laughter filled the air, setting a lighthearted tone for the ceremony.
As the couple stood at the altar, their parents beamed with pride and overflowing emotions in the front row, showing unwavering support for their relationship. The heartfelt exchange of vows moved everyone to tears. As per the couple’s request, I discreetly positioned myself behind the altar, capturing the heartwarming reactions of their guests as they shared their first kiss. As the newlyweds made their way down the aisle, Alden threw up an honorary peace sign, as if to say, “We did it!” with sheer joy and excitement.

Kind Words from the Couple
“Jess is an absolutely amazing photographer and just all around amazing person! She is so down to earth and really makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I did a shoot with Jess a few years ago and loved her so much that I had to make sure to book her for my wedding!! She did absolutely phenomenal work and I couldn’t be happier with the photos! Jess is extremely talented and very open to new ideas. She will make sure to capture every emotion in her pictures that will last you a lifetime. I will ALWAYS recommend Jess for all your photography needs and wants!”

Wedding Party Portraits
After the ceremony, the fun continued with the family and wedding party portraits. The groom and groomsmen added a touch of country charm by sporting cowboy hats, and we couldn’t resist capturing a fun photo of them tossing their hats into the air. Additionally, the groom’s family, who owns tractor dealerships, proudly wore their trucker hats in true country-style fashion.

A Country-Style Reception
The reception in The Barn at Powder Major’s Farm was a lively celebration. The buffet-style BBQ by Papa Joe’s Humble Kitchen was delicious, and DJ Darren Roy kept the dance floor packed. A touching moment occurred during the first dance, as the bride’s mom and stepmom embraced with tears of joy. Guests enjoyed a snack table filled with popcorn, candy, and other treats while sipping from charming mason jars. Every detail, from personalized napkins to custom Mr. & Mrs. flannels, showcased the couple’s intention and gratitude. It was a rustic, heartfelt, and unforgettable night.
